What is a break-even price?
The break-even price is the approximate selling price at which an investment produces neither a profit nor a loss after transaction costs.
Break-even Price = Buy Price × (1 + Total Fee Rate)
Why do trading fees matter?
Trading costs may appear small, but they can reduce returns across buying and selling transactions. Comparing only purchase and selling prices may therefore not represent the actual net result.
